Responsibilities

  • As a Maintenance Technician, address service requests and maintain the community under the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
  • Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by managing the turnover process.
  • Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and team members.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs, including:
  • Repair electrical circuits, switches, and breakers.
  • Service and install light fixtures and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
  • Fix and replace toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking.
  • Handle minor carpentry repairs, including doors, window screens, and blinds.
  • Paint and drywall repair as needed.
  • Remove bulk trash, including discarded appliances.
  • Clear drains and sewer lines (up to 4 feet).

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areas.
  • Previous apartment maintenance experience.
  • HVAC Certification is a plus.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and safely using ladders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work weekends as required.
