Myriad Global Media is a creative communications agency specialising in film, animation, immersive training, and digital experiences for the energy, technology, and infrastructure sectors. We deliver high-quality 3D technical animations and VR training applications that help our clients communicate complex stories with clarity and impact.

The Role

We are seeking a talentedAnimation & VR Project Managerto join our team on an initial 6-month contract, with the aim of becoming a permanent role. You will take ownership of projects from kick-off through to delivery, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative and technical standards.

This is a hands-on project management role, overseeing 3D technical/corporate animations and VR training applications, while coordinating our in-house and external teams of designers, animators, developers, and production specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple animation and VR training projects from scoping through to final delivery.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and stakeholder management throughout.
  • Translate client requirements into clear creative and technical briefs for the production team.
  • Oversee day-to-day progress of projects, anticipating challenges and finding solutions to keep delivery on track.
  • Ensure projects meet creative expectations, technical standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Support the growth of Myriad’s VR and animation offering by contributing ideas and best practices.

About You

  • Proven experience managing creative or digital projects, ideally in animation, VR, or similar fields.
  • Strong understanding of 3D production pipelines (Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, or equivalent).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Comfortable working with technical and creative teams, translating between both worlds.
  • Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Interest in emerging technology and immersive media is a plus.
