If you’re excited about transforming how client engineers build, this is the place to be.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, build, and optimize infrastructure that leverages automation and Generative AI for Android or iOS.
  • Lead hands-on experiments, rapidly testing hypotheses to improve how client engineers work.
  • Drive the adoption of GenAI and machine learning in our development workflows, and help shape build vs. buy strategies for new solutions.
  • Mentor team members, encourage best practices, and foster a culture of learning and innovation around GenAI.
  • Stay plugged into industry trends and share GenAI insights and opportunities across teams at Spotify.
Who You Are
  • You know how to build and maintain high-quality Android or iOS apps, and care deeply about developer experience.
  • You are experienced with machine learning frameworks, automation tools, and GenAI technologies.
  • You have a deep understanding of platform and infrastructure development challenges on mobile.
  • You care about fast, hypothesis-driven experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating across teams.
  • (Bonus) You have experience with data pipelines and instrumentation.
Where You'll Be
  • This role will ideally be located in the UK, Sweden, or potentially one of our other EMEA locations, excluding France for now due to on-call restrictions.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in-person meetings, but it still allows for flexibility to work from home.
