Role Description

As a division of PJT Partners, Park Hill Group provides fund placement services for alternative investment managers including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds and venture capital funds. Since its inception in 2005, Park Hill has served as a placement agent to more than 200 funds that have raised more than $260 billion for a diverse range of investment strategies. The private equity group offers analysts the chance to engage directly in the fund formation process for some of the best private equity firms worldwide, developing both quantitative and qualitative skills required at advanced levels across the financial spectrum.

Each fundraising deal is typically run by a three‑person deal team: a Senior Project Manager, an Analyst, and oversight from an MD / Partner.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the deal team in all aspects, including working directly with clients in drafting offering memorandums and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate all roadshow scheduling and logistics, and prepare for and coordinate due diligence meetings.
  • Manage multiple projects under time constraints and deadlines, maintaining constant communication with clients and ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Assist Partners in research projects, sourcing diligence, and origination of new mandates.
  • Maintain all external PHG materials, including marketing/pitch materials, fund offering booklets, and executive presentations for senior partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Investment Banking or a Placement Agent.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the alternative asset industry—specifically private equity and hedge funds.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self‑starter who can also work effectively as part of a team.
  • Confident and self‑aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic and highest order of personal and professional integrity.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
