Qualifications

• Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold a current licence to practise.
• Experience of high risk anaesthesia and obstetrics is required.
• Demonstrated involvement in clinical governance, audit, and/or QI.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in clinical sessions and independent elective lists.
• Contribution to QI, audits, teaching, and research.
• Management of on-call commitments.

Skills

Ability to anaesthetise for a wide variety of surgery in patients with multiple co morbidities

Able to perform neuroaxial techniques

Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English

Ability to work cooperatively with others
