A regional ambulance service provider in the UK is seeking an Ambulance Care Assistant to transport non-urgent patients and provide patient care. The role requires a full UK driving licence and at least one year of driving experience. Successful candidates must commit to a 3-week paid training course in Welwyn Garden City. The role of the Ambulance Care Assistant involves the transportation of non-urgent patients to and from health/social care premises and private residences. This is a responsible role which requires a professional and caring attitude, as well as teamwork.
You will start with a 3‑week paid training course (Monday – Friday) in Welwyn Garden City. The training includes clinical training to be a "First Person on Scene" and patient transport driver training, and a full uniform is provided.
