Job Summary

CF Fertilisers UK Limited, a subsidiary of CF Holdings, is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic I&E Maintenance Planner. This is an exceptional opportunity to join our dynamic maintenance team where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our site facilities and equipment through strategic planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.

As I&E Maintenance Planner you will coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal production downtime. Accountabilities include developing preventive maintenance plans, managing work orders, tracking equipment history, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards while collaborating with maintenance technicians and production teams to allocate resources efficiently and prioritise tasks based on urgency and impact.

In this role you are accountable for
EHSQ

Ensuring all maintenance tasks are planned in accordance with company and statutory, environmental, health and safety standards to ensure provision of a safe working environment, including the company’s obligations under COMAH legislation.

Planning
  1. Diagnosing the cause of equipment problems as described in work requests.
  2. Scoping of maintenance activities and production of job packs (in iPlan), including but not limited to:
    • Task sequence.
    • Labour and resource requirements.
    • Isolation requirements.
    • Access arrangements (scaffolding, MEWP, etc.).
    • Lifting arrangements (crane, lifting plan, etc.).
    • Risk assessment, method statement (RAMS) including specific hazard information such as confined space, vessel entry, first line break, etc.
    • Permit to Work request.
  3. Checking materials, spares, tools and equipment are available, and work orders are ready to execute.
  4. Managing the backlog of outstanding, unplanned work.
  5. Utilise the computerized maintenance management system in accordance with business maintenance policy.
  6. Prepare, collate, review and file reports of work done, equipment technical drawings, data and settings, spares descriptions and hierarchy in electronic and paper filing systems so that historical data is retained, recommendations for the future are made and evidence of work done is available for audit.
  7. Update job packs with feedback from the Maintenance Execution team of विकसित enhancements in work task preparation (spares, tools, requirements, etc.) and execution (methods, time estimates, etc.) as a means to continuously improve.
  8. Identify opportunistic/self‑plan defects which don’t require input from the planning team, effectively allowing work to go straight to schedule execution.
