A charitable organization in Salisbury is seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to enhance its Mental Health framework. This part-time position entails working 30 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with a starting hourly rate of £13.83, increasing to £14.25 post-probation. We are looking for a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team, this is part of a new Mental Health framework that will sit alongside and complement those provided by primary and secondary care. The role has been developed for people with lived experience who can build relationships and help service users work towards their recovery pathway. The Senior Peer Support Worker will work as part of a team that provides initial introductions with people in a community setting, focusing on the direct needs of the individuals ensuring a collaborative approach to meet the needs of the service user.
Hours – 30 hours per week, shifts on a rota covering 15:00 to 23:00 to include weekends and bank holidays and occasional day shift to accommodate training and other duties.
Hourly rate £13.83 rising to £14.25 after probation.
Annual salary – based on 30 hours per week £21,574.80 rising to £22,230.00 after probation.
