Responsibilities

  • Arranging Export airfreight shipments from start to finish.
  • Booking with selected carriers and processing relevant documentation.
  • Submitting export customs declarations onto system.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Skills

Proactive with strong organisation skills
Ability to work on your own initiative and without supervision
Knowledge of Airfreight pricing
Knowledge of Airfreight Import operations
Knowledge of Ocean freight operations

My client is currently recruiting an Airfreight Operations Coordinator to join their renowned business based in Sutton Coldfield. You will be working within the Airfreight Operations Department, reporting to the Airfreight Operations Manager.

Benefits
  • Salary up to £30,000 + Company / performance related bonus reviewed annually.
  • Monday – Friday 8 : 30am – 17 : 00am
  • Holiday 20 + bank holidays
  • Location : Sutton Coldfield
  • Office based role only.

Duties
  • Arranging Export airfreight shipments from start to finish
  • Booking with selected carriers, processing relevant documentation, and processing invoices on time.
  • Submitting export customs declarations onto system.
  • Hands on approach with all aspects of the forwarding process.
  • High communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Build internal relationships with colleagues and externally with customers, suppliers.
  • Building and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Adhere to our ISO compliance regulations.
Skills / Experience
  • Proactive with strong organisation skills.
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative and without supervision.
  • Knowledge of Airfreight pricing an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Airfreight Import operations an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Ocean freight operations an advantage.
  • Knowledge of hazardous cargo no essential but would be an advantage.
