Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating cutting‑edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are seeking an Airborne Mission Network FSR to work in a collaborative and innovative environment supporting our Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) program. You will be a critical part of the Network / System Administration team, maintaining the AFSOC networks in our OCONUS locations.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
  • Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
  • Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with airborne mission systems including routers, switches, modems and network connectivity.
  • Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
  • Supports new infrastructure projects.
  • Responsible for operation and proper handling of COMSEC material and encryption devices such as SKL.
  • Performs configuration and mission data entry with Harris RF equipment such as PRC‑117G / 152A providing multiple waveform communication options to the customer.
  • Other duties required to maintain the operation and security of Airborne Mission Systems equipment and software in accordance with government and industry standard.
  • Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
  • 3 years experience in hands‑on network / system administration.
  • Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification.
  • Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems and networks.
  • Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
Physical Demands
  • Be able to lift, or assist with two‑person lift, approximately 50lbs.
