Job description

Overview

Air Freight forwarder required for a freight forwarder in the Heathrow area, this is a growing freight forwarder this role is within the Airt freight business, that covers both exports and imports.. Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm 25k-30k.

Role

• Ensure all air freight jobs are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensure all customs declaration tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Ensure the operational system is always used and correctly
• Liaise with HMRC and maintenance of customs procedures
• This role will include all your normal Air Freight forwarder duties

Experience

• Air Freight background, Able to complete import/export Customs entries from start to finish
• Knowledge and experience of Export multimodal business
• Air exports knowledge
• Basic understanding of INCOTERMS
• Knowledge of quotes for shipments prior to movement and applying agreed rates where necessary
