Qualifications

• Must have a City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Valid F-Gas Category 1 certification is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance as per client contracts.
• Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and environmental standards.
• Complete service records and documentation accurately.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems to minimise downtime.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as per client contracts and schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and environmental standards.
• Complete accurate service records, job sheets, and documentation.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients and team members.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance call-outs, resolving issues efficiently.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe, working condition.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and conduct risk assessments where necessary.
• Mentor and support junior engineers or apprentices when required.

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• Valid F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
