Location: Coronation Drive, Ludwell, Shaftesbury, Dorset, SP7 9ND

Contract: Permanent, Part‑time (12.5 hours per week)

Salary: £27,254.00 – £28,598.00 per year (FTE). Actual hourly rate: £7,716 – £8,097 (pro‑rata).

Start date: January 2026

Lead an engaging, safe Afterschool Club for pupils after school hours. Create a positive environment, supervise a small team, manage activities, snacks, and ensure the well‑being of all children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that foster learning, creativity and social development.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive setting, adhering to safeguarding policies and health and safety guidelines.
• Supervise and support a small team of volunteers or staff.
• Provide snacks and maintain clean, hygienic premises.
• Communicate with parents and school staff regarding attendance, behaviour and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents and meal provision.
• Champion the school’s values of aspiration, collaboration, inclusion, enjoyment and relationship‑building.
