Job description

Right now, we’re looking for a keen and highly motivated Affiliate Manager to join our growing team to work on some internationally recognised fashion brands, working with our partner networks and publishers to deliver results that satisfy our clients business objectives.

This is the perfect role for a network or publisher side account manager or account executive with experience who wants to step into a multi-channel agency and gain a more wholesome view of their clients marketing activity. The affiliate department is one of our newest and fastest growing, and the successful candidate will be a key player in helping us grow the agencies affiliate activities.

As the role will see you working across international territories, additional language skills would be a bonus but are not essential to the role.

About Assembly

At Assembly, we help brands find the change to fuel business growth. We are an award-winning global brand performance agency, home to 1,500 talented people across 25 offices globally. We create unique data, technology and media solutions that enable faster and smarter problem solving and an inspired, collaborative workplace culture.

Your day to day tasks will include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of UK and international affiliate programmes. This will include managing programmes through network partners and instructing account managers, as well as managing programmes directly through tech partners such as Partnerize and Impact.
  • Carrying out short term and long term planning and strategy in order to achieve client objectives.
  • Assisting with new business proposals and pitches.
  • Working to ensure smooth new programme launches and migrations after new business wins.
  • Researching and contacting prospective affiliates for our clients’ campaigns. This includes approaching both large volume driving websites, and smaller, long-tail influencers and bloggers in the UK and international markets.
  • Building and managing relationships with publishers.
  • Daily checks and reporting on affiliate activity.
  • Auditing affiliate websites and promotional methods to ensure compliance with the client’s programme terms and conditions.
  • Updating creative, offers and promotions on behalf of clients.
  • Researching seasonal sector trends and new geo market insights.
  • Working with the affiliate networks and with affiliates to create exposure plans for client campaigns and to support promotions and new product launches.
  • Monitoring and reporting affiliate promotions back to the client.
  • Mentoring and managing junior team members.
  • At least 2 years experience working directly on affiliate campaigns, either client, network or agency side.
  • Organised and efficient approach to work, able to prioritise effectively and keep track of multiple tasks and projects.
  • Good communicator - able to effectively interpret client briefs, and clearly communicate details of partnerships, promotions, campaigns with partners and publishers. Able to clearly set expectations and communicate issues or delays to clients, fellow team members and other internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain and grow strong relationships with clients, publishers, and business partners.
  • Experienced in dealing with one or multiple affiliate platforms and technologies - e.g. Awin, CJ, Partnerize, Impact.
  • Adaptable and confident. We work with multiple platforms and technologies and are always looking to increase our knowledge and expertise in the department.

In return for your enthusiasm and expertise, we’ll reward you with a competitive salary and an enviable range of benefits that include 24 days holiday a year + your birthday and a half day before every Bank Holiday (with the option to buy more days) that rises by one day per year of service, pension, and life assurance.

You can also advantage a range of perks tailored to each office. These include free breakfast, lunch, snacks, tea & coffee, subsidised gym membership, a fully stocked (and free) bar, cycle scheme, on-site fitness classes, social events and parties, a day off for your birthday, as well as access to counselling/coaching sessions with Sanctus. We're proud to offer progressive and flexible working practices designed to give you the work-life balance you need. We are also a dog friendly office!
