Overview

MR PORTER is seeking a seasoned Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Manager to join the award-winning Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Team. The successful candidate will lead the affiliate strategy, be based in London, and report to the Head of Affiliate & Influencer Marketing. You will demonstrate excellent commercial skills, proven digital experience, and team leadership capabilities to define, implement and deliver the global strategy with a localised lens to drive new customer acquisition for MR PORTER.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 2 direct reports, with proven ability to delegate effectively and drive projects end-to-end.
  • Plan and manage the MR PORTER affiliate budget globally.
  • Support the Head of Department in curating the MR PORTER affiliate marketing strategy globally, leading the delegation and execution, and localising it to drive regional relevance & commercial KPIs.
  • Take an analytical approach to measure performance across affiliate and influencer activity; establish goals and targets, review, analyse and optimise performance, and report achievements and challenges. Propose new KPIs and strategies for partnerships based on business priorities.
  • Collaborate across departments (Performance Marketing, Marketing, Creative, PR, Social, and Buying) to align activity.
  • Lead the affiliate channel's technical optimisation & developments, working with Marketing Intelligence & Tech Teams to manage; lead negotiations for commercial agreements with affiliate networks/agencies.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with affiliate network/agency partners, including regular meetings, reporting, and communication of campaigns, promotions, and priority initiatives.
  • Develop partner strategies (designer, category, and campaign-led) to amplify business priorities.
  • Build and maintain a positive reputation for MR PORTER to ensure strong, transparent relationships with affiliate partners.
  • Manage strategic partner relationships to establish long-lasting, directly managed partnerships.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and industry trends, events and opportunities to relevant teams.
  • Propose innovative ideas to drive full-price customer growth, sales, and brand awareness with a cohesive 360 approach.
  • Act as a brand guardian to ensure activations through affiliate and influencer channels adhere to MR PORTER brand guidelines.
The kind of person we are looking for
  • 4-5 years of affiliate marketing experience, ideally in luxury and/or online retail or affiliate agency environments.
  • Experience with Partnerize or other affiliate networks/platforms.
  • Management experience leading teams and/or projects end-to-end, with strong delegation and people development skills.
  • Proven commercial experience in fast-paced retail environments, driving sales with a strong ROAS focus and healthy new customer acquisition.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics; data-led approach to performance optimization.
  • Experience managing agencies and building strategic partnerships with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a positive mindset under pressure.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills across internal teams and external partners.
  • Creative strategic thinker who brings innovative ideas to drive business growth and shares knowledge proactively with the wider team.
  • Highly organized with good judgment, problem-solving skills, initiative, and a sense of humour.
  • Passionate about the MR PORTER brand with drive to maintain a competitive edge in affiliate & influencer marketing.
