Job summary

A leading aerospace firm in Luton is seeking a Technical Author to produce high-quality documentation focused on S1000D-structured content and Simplified Technical English. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of aerospace documentation experience and proficiency with industry-standard authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor and Adobe FrameMaker. This role requires collaboration with engineers to ensure accurate information and successful UK Security Vetting. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working experience producing aerospace documentation.
• Experience with Document Management Systems and version control.
• English mother tongue.

Responsibilities

• Plan, research, and produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Work closely with engineers and subject matter experts.
• Convert engineering details into user-oriented documentation.
