A leading veterinary care provider in North Ferriby is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to deliver exceptional clinical care and manage high-level medical cases. The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered and have a strong background in both patient and client care. Medivet Swanland 24-Hour Hospital is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon who holds or is working toward an AVPCert in Small Animal Medicine or an AVPCert holder in Diagnostic Imaging. The ideal Medicine bias candidate is independently managing high-level medical cases, along with diagnosis leadership and treatment planning, while driving best practices. The ideal Imaging bias candidate will be the imaging lead in our hospital and surrounding first opinion practices interpreting advanced diagnostic cases.
Our Hospital consists of a passionate Lead Vet, Head Nurse, Practice Manager and strong Clinical Vet and RVN team with SVN and admin staff support. We also have a fully functioning and dedicated night team staffed by experienced vets & RVNs to cover out of hours.
We have 24-hour hospitalisation, separate dog, cat, exotic & isolation wards, three operating theatres with updated surgical facilities & equipment, an in-house lab, excellent diagnostic imaging facilities, including ultrasound, doppler, digital x ray, range of digital endoscopes, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy and a CT suite along with diagnostic ECG, hydrotherapy, under water treadmill and laser therapy.
We are offering 40 hours over 4 days and 1 in 6 weekends rota. We are happy to consider part time, just let us know what that looks like for you.
We offer a relocation package if relocating from outside the UK or more than 60 miles from your current UK address.
