Job summary

A regional children's support organization is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join their multi-agency exploitation hub. What will you be doing?

You will be part of developing and leading practices in our new multi-agency exploitation hub to strengthen our response to exploitation as quite simply our young people have never needed this more. You will have the opportunity to be part of developing a multi-agency contextual approach and innovative ways of working with young people in collaboration with our partner agencies. You will co-work as a small caseload, co-ordinating multi-agency safeguarding and intervention plans that respond to exploitation and risk beyond families. This includes delivering direct work to young people, their families, coaching and training. You will offer specialist consultation and support to social workers and partners across the trust.

About you

You should be a qualified Social Worker, with Social Work England registration, and have proven 3 years of experience of working in a 'Front Line' service and must have demonstrated exploitation experience.

You will need a minimum of 12 months experience of working in child exploitation and be able to demonstrate knowledge of working in this area.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Barred List check
