We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team at Gatwick IRC, located in Gatwick.

The ANP will support primary care services, assist GPs, and work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead to provide advanced clinical practice and leadership.

Hours

The site currently offers a 24‑hour service with flexible shift patterns – 5 days per week, including some weekend work.

Salary

Full time. Annual salary up to £66,792 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Person Specification

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK. Employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Main Duties
  • Apply expert clinical skills and judgment in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of registered and non‑registered professionals, including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
  • Act as a role model, ensuring professional appearance and maintaining standards; support senior clinicians and contribute to the daily leadership team.
  • Manage patient safety, complex cases, and apply up-to-date treatment methodology.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse – NMC only
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development

  • Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards

Preferable to have experience in hospital, community or prison environment.
