We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Five Wells, a category C Prison located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Hours and salary

Hours: Mon - Fri 08:00 – 16:00; potential weekend shifts

Salary: This full-time position offers an annual salary up to £64,471 per annum, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

• Provide expert clinical skills and demonstrate judgment in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems. Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising various registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
• Act as a role model, maintaining professional standards at all times. Support senior clinicians on site and be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
• Work as a clinical expert to ensure patient safety, management of complex cases, and application of the most up-to-date treatment methodologies.
