A leading healthcare provider in Cambridge is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist specializing in antimicrobial stewardship. The role requires providing advanced clinical services, leading pharmacy education and training, and conducting audits. Ideal candidates will possess a pharmacy degree and experience in clinical services, with the possibility of supporting the independent prescribing qualification within the first year. Advanced Clinical Pharmacist - Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Diseases. There is now an exciting opportunity to join the antimicrobial stewardship and Infectious diseases (AMS-ID) pharmacy service as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the AMS-ID pharmacy team and work with the Principal AMS-ID Pharmacist to develop the service over the coming years. You will provide an advanced clinical service to the AMS-ID wards, as well as assisting the Principal AMS-ID Pharmacist to provide leadership within the directorate. You will lead on trust and pharmacy based education and training matters associated with AMS-ID, as well as on AMS-ID service evaluations and audit reporting. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual, who ideally holds an independent prescribing qualification, but would be open to supporting candidates through this within the first 12 months of the post. The Department of Pharmacy at CUH is ambitious and forward thinking, supporting the development of electronic solutions to enhance patient care.
