Job summary

What you'll be doing
  • Deliver safe, capable processes for optimised Test and Evaluation disciplines to specified standards
  • Delivery of Trials Engineering tasks
  • Gaining knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of new trials techniques
  • Assisting in the maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Using computer software to enable data capture through appropriate hardware
  • Executing and reporting results from Test and Evaluation trials
  • Ensuring there is a detailed Safe System of Work in place for the new techniques you develop
  • Assisting with the movements of stores around site using a forklift truck
What qualification will you get?

SVQ Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering at SCQF Level 6 | EAL

To achieve this qualification, you will be expected to attend Glasgow Clyde College full‑time during the first year.
