Adult Social Worker, Mental Health, Sutton

Pay rate – £30 per hour

One full time Social Worker needed for the LB Sutton Mental Health team. This role is for a Mental Health Social Worker working within the local authority mental health social care team, specifically working on hospital discharges from mental health hospitals.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Must be experienced in managing complex adults mental health cases.
• Must have experience working in mental health for a Local Authority and completing statutory Care Act tasks, including Care Act assessments, reviews and care planning.
• Experience working alongside multidisciplinary professionals, S117, attending ward rounds, working with Housing and brokerage, Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, carrying out Safeguarding Enquiries and duty work.
• Must be a driver with own transport to travel around the borough and out of the borough when needed.
• Experienced working under a pressurised environment, proactive with managing complex cases and prioritising workloads given the fast pace of mental health social work.
• Role is within a Local Authority Mental Health Social Work team and is NOT a Care Coordination role.
