Job description
Overview

A typical day as an Adult Healthy Lifestyle Coach might include delivering 13-week Gloji group weight loss programmes, an evidence-based intervention covering nutrition, movement, mind, sleep and alcohol, with a focus on behaviour change and psychological support. You will motivate, inspire and support individuals to lose weight and adopt a healthier lifestyle through a professional, knowledgeable and empathetic approach.

You will guide aspects of an individual's health improvement plan including SMART goal setting, taking into account their risk factors, individual lifestyles and motivation. You will accurately record and monitor data, including client progression, and support referral generation activities to promote the service.

Work with colleagues across Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments, sharing knowledge and resources. Ensure due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance. Help maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across services and embedding our values.

Be the change you want to see in the world. We value teamwork, patient and adaptable attitudes, a positive approach and a commitment to meaningful work that changes lives.

To work with us in this role you will need to have some experience of supporting individuals to make healthy lifestyle choices, preferably in group settings, through nutrition, physical activity or health coaching. You should feel confident managing a caseload and have knowledge of behaviour change techniques. A relevant qualification (such as health coaching, nutrition or fitness instructing) would be a bonus.
