Job summary

A recruitment agency seeks an Adult Social Care Lawyer for a contract role based in the East Midlands. The position offers remote working and a competitive hourly rate of £60-£65 outside of IR35. The successful candidate will manage various legal matters, including Court of Protection cases and Mental Health Act issues. Experience in local government is preferred, but private practice candidates may also apply. This role begins on a three-month basis with potential for extension.

Adult Social Care Lawyer

£60 - £65 per hour OUTSIDE IR35

Remote working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Care Lawyer to join a friendly and supportive team within a local authority based in the East Midlands. This role will fall outside of IR35 and offers flexibility with remote working.

The successful candidate for the Adult Care Lawyer role will be dealing with a range of matters, including:

  • Court of Protection caseload
  • Mental Health Act matters
  • Attending tribunals
  • Deprivation of liberty matters
  • Advice on community care
  • Judicial review proceedings

This contract will begin on a 3 month basis with a strong possibility of the role continuing beyond that.

We are really keen to hear from candidates who have previously experience within local government but candidates from a private practice background are also welcome to apply.
