Requirements

Licence to cover 7.5t Licence (min Category C1) (Essential) ADR (Essential)


Hours: Mon – Fri 47hrs p/w – 7.30AM/8.00AM START - No nights or weekends



Role overview

As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a Cylinder Truck Delivery Driver to join their team. The role has the potential to be a stepping stone for someone to be a Bulk Tank driver. You will be driving a small flat bed truck full of cylinders and your position is to provide timely delivery of products to our clients customers in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace our clients core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. This role provides a front-line business-critical activity, being part of our clients team supporting our continuing customer relationship, which improves retention on a long-term basis.



Roles and Responsibilities


  • Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.

  • Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and standards.

  • Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.

  • Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.



Requirements and Qualifications


  • Licence minimum category C1

  • Proven driving experience (Where required)

  • Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)

  • Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment

  • Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills

  • Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data

  • You will need licence to cover 7.5t
