Job description

The role will provide comprehensive operational assistance and administrative support to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Campus Resources Manager. Based at the Winchester School of Art, the role comprises of 11 hours spread over Thursday and Friday.

This role supports staff by managing physical spaces, office supplies, and related services to create a safe, efficient, and well-equipped working environment. Working closely with colleagues in the Faculty, Estates department and Security, you will be responsible for reporting maintenance issues and dealing with day to day queries for all Resource related matters.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance reporting and equipment requests of office spaces, meeting rooms, and communal areas.
  • Reporting of building and estate repairs and maintenance.
  • Monitoring of the Campus Resources inbox , responding to queries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies (stationery, equipment, consumables) and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Support office moves, desk allocations, and layout change
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post to the campus, working closely with the University Post and Portering team
