A leading specialist trade merchant is seeking an Administrator in Darlington within the Supply Chain team. This full-time role involves managing internal and external queries, supporting warehouse and transport operations, and handling administrative tasks. As an Administrator based in Darlington, you’ll be responsible for:
Answering all internal and external queries by phone and email.
Supporting Warehouse and Transport teams with admin tasks, including booking drivers and handling delivery or transport queries.
Managing ordering tasks such as consumables, uniforms, pump trucks and RF kit swap‑outs.
Handling supplier queries and updating the relevant teams.
Contact branches each week to gather and share feedback on FC performance.
The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours a week – Monday to Friday - 10am - 6pm.
Good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Understanding of warehouse or logistics operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks.
