A dynamic start-up based in Oxford seeks an enthusiastic individual for administrative support. The role involves a range of tasks such as diary management, bookkeeping, and assisting in project meetings. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Offering both part-time and full-time opportunities with a competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £32,000 per annum, including a comprehensive benefits package.
FluoRok is a dynamic, VC-backed start‑up transforming the future of fluorochemicals. Founded in 2022 as a spin‑out from the University of Oxford, we develop safer, more sustainable, and cost‑effective solutions for essential fluorochemicals which are critical materials for energy storage, global sustainability, health and food supplies.
FluoRok is entering an exciting new phase of growth, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and administratively minded individual to join us. We need someone who is a fast learner, keen to develop a broad understanding of how a growing business operates, and ready to support a wide range of functions across the company.
You don’t necessarily need years of experience - just strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, a proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved wherever needed. This is an amazing opportunity to quickly build a broad range of skills that will be invaluable for a future career in administration and operations.
This role is office‑based at ARC Oxford, one of the UK’s leading innovation campuses, where we operate across a cutting‑edge R&D facility and a newly launched pilot plant.
We will consider part‑time or full‑time candidates, with a minimum requirement of 25 hours per week.
If you don’t tick every box but you’re enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn, we still encourage you to apply.
We offer a competitive benefits package with private pension, private health insurance, group life insurance and share options plan.
