Job Description
The role is to provide clerical and administrative support to the Chinuch UK team, the role will initially be remote working whilst our Manchester offices are under renovation.
- To answer the telephone and take messages as appropriate
- To monitor and respond to emails
- To print and photocopy as required
- To take notes and write letters/emails as required
- To be responsible for filing and to supervise and update the filing system when necessary
- To support production of email bulletins and documents including formatting and some graphics
- To maintain and update contact lists
- To co-ordinate arrangements for training sessions and meetings
- To make appropriate entries in the Excel work logging system
- To assist with the preparation and production of materials for training, etc.
- To undertake information research and data handling tasks in support of projects
- To undertake additional tasks as required by line manager
- Some flexibility to work additional hours an advantage
Experience and skills Required
- Bright and quick to grasp tasks
- Organised with the ability to prioritise
- IT Proficient on word/excel/ powerpoint/outlook
- Able to work independently once assigned workload
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Respectful of the charity’s ethos
- Familiarity with school or educational settings regulatory paperwork an advantage.
