Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team at HMP East Sutton Park, CATEGORY D & Female prison.

As the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body, with everything we do impacting every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and wider to the families and community.

As an Administration Officer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners and Administrators, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for an Administration Officer with a combination of the following:

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support within the Facilities Maintenance Team to help ensure smooth and safe operation.
  • Use a variety of IT systems including CAFM.
  • Work in a busy office environment and in a role that may involve working without supervision.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience in using a variety of IT systems including CAFM.
  • Experience in a busy office environment.
  • Experience of working without supervision.
  • Knowledge of IT systems.
  • Up-to-date First Aid qualification.
  • Administrative experience, Disability Confident.
