Role description: Administration

The Administration Officer will provide essential administrative support across a range of functions to help North East Counselling Services run effectively and ensure counsellors can focus on delivering high-quality services.

Reporting To The Operations Manager, The Successful Candidate Will

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the management team.
  • Support HR, finance, communications, and business processes.
  • Assist with booking appointments and handling enquiries (in person, by phone, and online).
  • Maintain accurate records on our internal systems, including Counsel360 for which full training will be provided.
  • Support counsellors with room bookings, data input, and general admin needs.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance (including fire safety, first aid and helping to ensure the premises are well-maintained and welcoming).
  • Provide support for arranging meetings or taking meeting notes when required.
