A healthcare provider in Butterwick is seeking a dedicated administrator to support multi-disciplinary team meetings, update patient information systems in real-time, and coordinate administrative actions. Ideal candidates would possess advanced typing skills and experience with diary management. This full-time role offers a dynamic working environment in the NHS, requiring excellent communication skills to interact with service users and staff.
The post holder will support multi-disciplinary team meetings, which can occur daily. They will update the patient information system during meetings and must be able to type in real time to record accurate information. They will coordinate administrative actions following meetings, including arranging further patient-related meetings within very tight timescales.
These posts are full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and office based. The post holder should have experience of general office duties such as ordering, petty cash, filing and scanning, and carry out duties to ensure a comprehensive, high quality administration service. The post holder must be confident dealing with service users face to face as well as by telephone with internal and external sources. Working with members of the administration team who are not based on the same ward, you will be expected to provide cover during periods of absence. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to deal with exposure to highly distressing or emotional circumstances and will be expected to participate in all relevant training courses appropriate to the role.
Longview is an 18-bedded acute admission ward for women over 18 years of age, who require assessment and treatment in hospital. Inpatients is a very busy service, and the role is to support the multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure that our service users receive high quality care from admission, during treatment and up to discharge from the wards.
