Academy Administration Lead

Band 7

37 hours per week, term time only plus three weeks

FTE £32,061 - £36,363

Actual Salary £29,964 - £33,985

Dove House is an Outstanding school and is one of five schools within Solent Academies Trust. We are seeking to recruit a highly organised and proactive and compassionate individual to oversee the school’s administrative function.

The Administrative Lead will manage the school’s administrative services. This is a pivotal role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a strong understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and compliance within a special education setting.

You will lead the administrative team ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You will work closely with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, staff, families and external agencies to provide an efficient, welcoming and professional service.

Candidates will have strong administrative skills, ideally within a school setting and will understand the importance of inclusive practice and supporting vulnerable leaners. You will be a motivated and vibrant individual who enjoys working within an environment that is constantly busy.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 3.30pm. You will work for 42 weeks of the year; however, you will be paid for 48.6 weeks. Your salary will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
