Overview

Hours: 4 mornings per week as Administration Assistant, plus 1 full day per week as Administration Officer. We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Administration Assistant to join St. John\'s C. E. Primary School, Abram. This role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to support the smooth running of our school through excellent administrative and reception duties. You will be the first point of contact for parents, working closely with teachers and staff to ensure effective communication and administration.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional reception service.
  • Support the administrative functions of the school, including day-to-day office tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to support a range of administrative duties.
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries efficiently and courteously.
  • Assist with the organisation and coordination of school events and communications.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an administrative or reception role, ideally within an educational setting.

Hours and Salary

14 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Salary: Grade B, £7,845 - £8,094 per annum (£12.85 - £13.26 per hour). 7 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year. Salary: Grade C, £4,047 - £4,243 per annum (£13.26 - £13.90 per hour). Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 12:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm.
