Are you an enthusiastic and organised individual with a passion for administration? Our client in the public sector is looking for a dedicated Admin Support professional to join their Central Ticket Office team! This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective operation of a vital public service, with an hourly rate of £13.10.

Contract Type: Temporary

End Date: January 2027 (12 months)

Working Pattern: Full Time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm 37 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and record all incoming post on the National Fixed Penalty System.
  • Process post through scanning and the Electronic Document Management System for prompt decisions.
  • Produce daily prints and check all documents for future court action.
  • Manage enquiries received in the Central Ticket Office email, ensuring timely responses.
  • Operate the electronic mailing system, preparing documents for posting.
  • Handle payments for transfers to the Fixed Penalty Office.
  • Generate correspondence using Microsoft Word and the National Fixed Penalty System.
  • Assist with processing driver admissions and checking for any discrepancies.
  • Address enquiries from the public, remaining calm and professional, even in challenging situations.
  • Liaise with Police Officers and Fixed Penalty Offices to resolve queries.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with Data Protection regulations.
What We're Looking For
  • English GCSE (A-C) or equivalent.
  • RSA II or equivalent experience.
  • Clerical experience, demonstrating strong administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and IT literacy.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly with public interactions.
  • Conflict resolution skills to handle enquiries tactfully and assertively.
