Job description

We are seeking an experienced Administrator Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our administrative hub at Watton Medical Practice. This key role is responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, high standards of data accuracy, and full compliance with clinical and operational requirements.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative queries, oversee and balance workloads, and provide hands-on leadership to support a high-performing team. The role also plays an important part in driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent administrative support for clinical services.

Main duties of the job

The Administrator Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the smooth running of the practice by overseeing administrative operations, maintaining data quality, and providing leadership and guidance to the admin team.

  • Operational Oversight: Monitor admin workflows, allocate tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Data Quality: Support audits, coding accuracy, send invitations to patients requiring long term condition reviews. Ensure achievement of QOF and LCS standards.
  • Communication: Relay updates to the admin team, escalate issues and provide initial guidance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities and assist in updating policies.
  • General Admin Duties: Clinical coding, patient registration, pathology processing, correspondence handling and supporting other teams when needed.
