Job summary

A public sector staffing agency seeks an Admin Officer based in Coventry. This temporary office-based role involves providing customer service, handling administrative tasks, and interacting with the public. Admin Officer

Location: Little Park Street, Coventry, CV1 2SQ, United Kingdom Court

Office‑based

Hourly rate: £12.53, increasing to £13.25 per hour after 12 weeks

Working days / hours: 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm

Contract: Temporary position, subject to extension pending performance and business needs

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Customer service via telephone
  • Face‑to‑face interaction with the public
  • Progress cases through the Court/Tribunal system and provide support to other functions in HMCTS
  • Problem solving – refer to problem‑solving hubs and guidelines

Clearance Level

Basic DBS

Training

Training will be provided. During training there is no annual leave. Associates will shadow other court ushers and complete e‑learning modules.

Additional Clearance

Period of six months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last five years will require an additional overseas police check, which is the responsibility of the candidate.
