A leading workforce solutions provider in the UK is seeking a Transport Administrator Clerk to join their Distribution Centre in Bradford. In this role, you will allocate vehicle details to drivers, monitor deliveries, and handle customer inquiries. The ideal candidate possesses strong administrative skills, is proficient in MS Office, and can work effectively under pressure. This position offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour and full training will be provided. Shift patterns are Sunday to Thursday.

Staffline is recruiting for a Transport Administrator Clerk to join our client's Distribution Centre in Bradford.

Location: Bradford Distribution Centre

Shifts available: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday

Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour

Your Time at Work
Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate vehicle and load details to drivers using a daily planner.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completion of deliveries.
  • Administer delivery documentation during drivers' debrief.
  • Handle telephone enquiries from customers, drivers, and internal departments.
  • Support additional administrative duties as required by the Transport Shift Manager and operations team.
Candidate Requirements
  • Confident and capable communicator.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel).
  • Attention to detail with good time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player, motivated, and eager to grow in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Desirable but Not Essential
  • Experience in a transport office.
  • Familiarity with Microlise.
