A regional health board in the UK is seeking an Admin call handler/porter driver to enhance healthcare services. The candidate will drive vehicles for specimen transport and support vaccination efforts. Ideal candidates will possess a full driving license and have strong customer service skills. This position offers a chance to contribute significantly to community health and safety standards.

The post holder will contribute to the provision of healthcare for the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) by delivering a porter/driver service which meets all organisational and legislative standards and support the vaccination and immunisation service along with the wider Health Protection function, with a commitment to working within a safety and quality framework.
Support the Senior Administration Manager in the delivery of porter/driver services at the community and locality sites, and ensure a safe and high quality service is delivered to patients, staff and visitors in accordance with service specifications and site requirements.
The post holder will be required to perform supplementary duties to respond to service needs, including administration functions, that are appropriate to the vaccination and immunisations along with Health Protection function and in line with their banding.
There will be a requirement to drive a community vehicle transporting specimens, mail and equipment as well as delivering and collecting vaccines to/from health and social care sites across CTMUHB. There will also be a requirement to drive a Mobile Vaccination Unit (1.25 tonne vehicle) to provide a vaccination outreach service to low uptake areas within CTM. The post holder will also support the delivery as and when required to the wider Health Protection service.
