A healthcare organization in Wigan is seeking an ADHD Specialist Nurse (Band 6) for a permanent part-time position. The role includes completing assessments, guiding patients with ADHD, and providing clinical care. Applicants should have a nursing qualification and experience in mental health assessment. The Wigan Adult ADHD team are looking to recruit an ADHD Specialist Nurse (Band 6) to a permanent, part-time position (0.8wte/30 hours per week). Flexible working can be considered.
The successful applicant will join a friendly and supportive team and be supported by senior clinicians who will provide clinical supervision and development opportunities within a specialist team. The clinics are based at Wigan and Leigh and travel across the borough will also be required to support accessibility. The opportunity for further professional development including specialist ADHD training and non-medical prescribing can be considered with the successful applicant. Although specialist knowledge and experience of ADHD is desirable it is not essential.
