Job description

As a Senior Engineer at Actemium Automation Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. A customer focused role, you will be assisting the business in creating new tenders, direct sourcing and working collaboratively with the Project Managers. Your day-to-day will include:

Responsibilities

• Assist the business in creating new tenders, direct sourcing and working collaboratively with the Project Managers
• Direct liaison with customers and internal design/management team
• Onsite commissioning and testing of control systems while adhering to site regulations
• Provide technical supervision of system design, build and installation personnel; risk assessment: identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Design and testing of control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards and legislative requirements

Qualifications

• Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
• High level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents
• Strong understanding of technical project life cycle
• Good time management skills, and be able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work
• Good appreciation of industrial software controls systems
