Job summary

A well-established accountancy practice in Northern Ireland is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician/Accountant. Responsibilities include managing client financial records, processing invoices, preparing tax returns, and assisting with payroll. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience and confident IT skills. This is a permanent position with working hours Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and early finishes on Fridays.

Overview

Accounts Technician/Accountant (Practice), Randalstown

We are working with a well-established Accountancy Practice who are seeking to appoint their new Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

Working Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and 4pm Friday finishes.

Joining a supportive team, you will be;

  • Working with clients to understand their financial records and systems
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and accounts
  • Processing invoices, recording receipts and payments, and handling company expenses
  • Preparing and submitting tax returns, including VAT returns and self-assessment
  • Assisting with payroll processing and administration.
  • Preparing financial reports, including budgets, commentaries, and statement
