Job description

The Accounts Assistant - Payables is responsible for payments on assigned accounts, monitoring and processing supplier invoices to manage exceptions, monitoring credit terms, reconciling supplier statements, producing payment runs, accurately recording and allocating payments, and communicating with suppliers and operational team members.

Salary £29k-£32k Location Heathrow

Initial hours will be 9-5:30pm then after probation, hybrid working 2 days per week.

An ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ accounting experience in a Logistics / Freight forwarding company, a stable work history, experience with high volumes of invoices, and preferably experience of Cargowise. A high grade in Math’s GCSE and a very positive attitude are also required.
