Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will be required to manage full sets of accounts. Successful candidate will be offered a package to commensurate with their experience and qualification with a 5 day work week, medical benefit, performance bonus and annual leave.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts from bookkeeping through to statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare monthly financial statements to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for informed decision-making
  • Record and post financial transactions accurately and promptly to maintain data integrity and support audit readiness
  • Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with statutory deadlines and regulatory standards
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial assignments and generate detailed reports to support business operations and strategic planning
  • Perform office administration tasks that maintain operational workflows and enhance organizational efficiency
  • Administer event registrations and membership management processes to facilitate successful event execution and improve member engagement
Required competencies and certifications
  • Professional certificate, diploma, or degree in Finance or Accountancy
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance and/or accounting roles
  • Proficient in problem-solving to independently resolve financial and operational issues
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as a team player in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of AutoCount accounting software is an asset
