A leading accountancy firm in Plymouth is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role supports a variety of accounts, tax, and audit processes. Candidates should ideally have at least 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice and preferably hold an AAT qualification. Responsibilities include preparing year-end accounts, managing tax returns, and delivering excellent client service. Opportunities for professional development through study support for AAT or ACA qualifications are also available.
Competitive depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
28 days annual leave (Inclusive of bank holiday allowance, to be booked when you like) allowance increases by one day per each year of service following 5 years' service (up to a maximum of 33 days)

We are looking for candidates with previous accountancy practice experience to support a range of accounts, tax and audit processes. In return we can offer study support for the ACA qualification or AAT if not yet qualified.
