Overview

Accounts Assistant at Williams Manchester

Working hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm, 40 hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Support the accountant and the wider management team with a focus on bank and balance sheet reconciliations, requiring a high degree of accuracy and numerical ability.
  • Post daily bank transactions to the accounting system, process daily cash and card takings, and assist with the sales ledger and purchase ledger.
  • Help ensure the smooth running of the accounting team within a busy motor retail business, bringing enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the office.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, and experienced with accounting systems in an accounting environment.
  • Experience in the motor industry and working with the Kerridge DMS is advantageous but not essential, as on‑site training will be provided.
