This role is supporting it's sister company Kudos Facilities Management.
An exciting opportunity to work hand in hand with the management accountant delivering services to a facilities Management company in the group. This role is for someone looking to take ownership of all aspects of the processing and administration within the accounts function and providing ad hoc support to the management accountant.
This role is suited to someone looking for the ability to work collaboratively in a developing team environment, to build on existing systems and processes. The key to success will be a strong ability to work with the team and taking full accountability for your role.
Key responsibilities include managing POs, processing purchase invoices, raising sales invoices ensuring onward billing of variations, and assisting with the monthly payroll run, as well as assisting the financial controller with reporting.
Ideally you will have completed AAT level 3 or 4 would be desirable, although this is not essential, and you will be proficient with Microsoft suite, particularly Excel. Bookkeeping and/or VAT/CIS legislation experience is desirable.
You will have spent at least 2 years in a similar accounts or finance assistant role within a fast paced operational business. Experience within an FM company or similar would be desirable but not essential. You will have worked in an independent role with the ability to be self motivated and disciplined.
Communication with stakeholders is the key to success in this role and you will be able to demonstrate experience in managing relationships internally and externally, with suppliers and contractors for example.
