About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Finance team, supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth accounting processes. This is a 4 day week office role, with 1 day operating from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices, supplier payments, and staff expenses.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve disputes.
  • Produce sales invoices and monitor aged debtor arrears.
  • Assist with consignment accounting, settlements, and grower payments.
  • Post and reconcile credit card transactions and journal entries.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, sales summaries, and cash-flow forecasts.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register and assist with audits.
  • Support process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or working towards an accounting qualification (AAT).
  • 2-5 years of experience (or equivalent skills).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
