A recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a Japanese Speaking Tax Manager for expatriate tax services. Qualifications

  • Experience in a tax-related role at an accounting firm in Japan or the UK.
  • Knowledge of international individual tax, especially UK/Japan.
  • Business level English and native-level (or equivalent) Japanese.
  • Team management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive UK individual tax services to Japanese expatriate clients.
  • Prepare and review UK Self Assessment Tax Returns.
  • Advise on double taxation and foreign tax credit issues between Japan and the UK.
  • Liaise with clients in both English and Japanese.
  • Manage and develop junior staff.
  • Communicate with HMRC regarding tax queries and amendments.
